Pill Reports - ecstasy test results database

Pillreports is a global database of "Ecstasy" pills based on both subjective user reports and scientific analysis. "Ecstasy" is traditionally the name for MDMA based pills, however here we also include closely related substances such as MDA, MDEA, MBDB. Pills sold as "Ecstasy" often include other, potentially more dangerous, substances such as methamphetamine, ketamine and PMA.

By identifying dangerous adulterants, Pillreports performs a vital harm reduction service that can prevent many of the problems associated with "Ecstasy" use before they happen. Prevention is always better than cure, as you cannot cure death.

Please Note: Pillreports.com exists as a harm reduction tool and does not condemn or condone ecstasy use.

Pillreports is brought to you by Enlighten Harm Reduction.

Posted by johnboy @ 10:14 pm GMT

A man whose body was found in Hampshire on Saturday morning is thought to have died after taking an ecstasy tablet from a rogue batch, police have said.

The homeless man, in his 20s and from Poland, bought the pill in Winchester city centre on Friday, officers said.

Paramedics called to a house in Christchurch Road found his body.

Police think the rogue tablets, which are white and diamond shaped with a score mark across the middle, may be circulating in the city.

They have urged anyone who may have bought pills in the last 48 hours to be aware of the risk.

July 10, 2009-Police warning on 'lethal' ecstasy

Posted by bearlove @ 10:04 am GMT

Police have warned Canberrans of the dangers of a potentially lethal batch of ecstasy discovered in two separate seizures.
The green-coloured pills, stamped with a Batman insignia, contain three chemicals which can cause overheating of the body, tissue damage and brain haemorrhage, particularly when taken together.

Police said the three chemicals, commonly known as MDMA, BZP and TFMPP were rarely found in the same tablet, but their impact could be deadly.

The officer in charge of ACT Policing's drug and alcohol policy, Detective Senior Constable Mark Battye, said the discovery was disturbing.

He said the two seizures of the tablets occurred in late May, one involving an alleged deal between two underage youths. Senior Constable Battye said while it was unclear whether this batch of ecstasy pills was still circulating in Canberra, the community needed to be aware of the danger.

''It is very rare to see tablets with these three chemicals together because those three chemicals react very dangerously with each other. We're warning the community to be very careful when taking ecstasy tablets.''

Senior Constable Battye said police had seen a small increase in the use of ecstasy.

Three people are before the courts in relation to the seizures
